Fees and the Typical Lifecycle of an Engagement

We have noticed that many of our peers are rather coy about their fees. We are not. We charge an hourly rate of £350 and in our experience a valuation typically costs between £1,500 to £3,000 pounds.

The first stage of any engagement is a call with our client to establish why the valuation is needed, what they hope to achieve, and gain an understanding of the nature of their business.

This is followed by the building of an excel based model, populated with the historical financial figures of our client’s company.

The next stages are a series of conversations, interspersed with modelling work, during which we build a forecast with our client, explain which assumptions are most crucial for their valuation and highlight those insights gained from the modelling work.

The final output can be as simple as the valuation figure, or as extensive as an excel model, valuation report and presentation to other parties. It is entirely as our client wishes.
